What girl wouldn’t want to be surrounded by the sexy guys from the hottest teen rock sensation in the country? 18-year-old Never “Neve” Knight, not only is surrounded by the hottest boys to hit the music charts, but she is the band’s lead singer. As the band’s lead singer and manager, Never formed and shaped the band to where it is today, a band on the rise and on the brink of being signed by a label. As one of the guys, she knew each of the band members since they were all snot-nose ten-year-olds. While her boys were the cutest guys and they would protect her like knights, she couldn’t date any one of them and ruin the chance at being signed with the record label of her dreams. That changes when one of the band members suddenly drops out of the band, and in walks Danny Blue, with his dreamy blue eyes, hot body, and British accent. Suddenly, Never’s solid world has turned to mush, and her rule for not dating one of her band members is seriously challenged. Can she keep her head straight and get her band signed with a label without losing her heart?

My Review:
Ms. Gow has created a wonderfully unique book! This is the first book by Ms. Gow that I have had the pleasure of reading, and if all her work is like this, it most definitely will not be the last. This is not quite a YA novel, but definitely not a mature adult novel either. It’s a cross between the two, and definitely hits home on the battles of coming of age, growing up and falling in love.
Never Knight is a woman who starts up a band, though the band is made up of all boys that she grew up with. This band is something she wants, but all the boys seem to be attracted to her. While she’s working on her all-boy band, and trying to succeed, Daniel “Danny” Blue enters the picture and the sparks go a-flyin’! From that bit, the story picks up pace and takes the reader on a rockin’ roll rollercoaster ride of ups and downs, twists and turns, as we follow Neve and her boys.
This book is the perfect book to read for finding ones self. Reading Never’s story was fun, exciting and entertaining sure. But there is a deeper moral to the story. Being independent, trusting in yourself and following your heart play major roles in this first installment to Never Knight’s life. With the awesome secondary characters, and Danny and Never, the reader is never left with a dull moment.
I definitely recommend this 4 Book worthy novel. It’s a wonderful start to a new series, filled with life lessons and great, complex characters. I love Ms. Gow’s writing style and can’t wait to read more in this series, as well as other books by this highly skilled author! Great job, Ms. Gow!

This sounds like a good book – more mature than a YA and yet not exactly a hot romance – thanks for the info on it
