Tamaria Soana is middle-aged but feels like her life has just begun. She writes contemporary romance stories with a high heat level that always end with a ‘happily ever after’. Growing up, she loved to read and make up new places in her head to escape to. In her late teens she began writing short stories and poetry. It wasn’t until her late thirties before she began to spin a full story.
She’s married and a stay-at-home mom of two beautiful young girls. They reside in Western New York. Cuddling up with a good book under an electric throw is her way to escape the cold Buffalo nights.
Besides writing, she co-owns Shades of Rose Marketing and Shades of Rose YA Marketing, and she also hosts a talk show on Talkshoe called Live with Tamaria ~ Giving Authors a Voice.

This was a wonderful quick read! It was short, sweet and to the point, and the heat between the characters jumped off the page! I loved the writing style of Ms. Soana, and she instantly swept me away to the sandy shores of Myrtle Beach (which, in reality, is only 2 hours away from me!).
Kimberly is a wonderfully written character. She’s been dumped by her boyfriend, she’s young and beautiful, though she doesn’t see herself as that. When she arrives at the beach, there’s a hunky lifeguard that catches her eye. Despite the instance of her roommate and best friend, Amber, she doesn’t give in to her urge to talk to him, knowing he could never like her. But, then a near tragedy happens and she’s forced to be in the presence of the sexy lifeguard.
Daniel is a sexy lifeguard who’s eyes are on Kim. When something tragic happens he jumps at the chance to save her….and possibly take her on a date. Can he catch her attention and show her what a Myrtle Beach sunset is really all about?
This is a quick read, perfect for that bed time read, or quick lunch break story. Less than 30 pages, this is a 4 Book worthy story that will heat up the eReader in no time! My one complaint….I would love to see where Kim and Daniel take their night together! The ending left me wanting more from them. I can’t wait to go back and read more of Ms. Soana’s work as I’m now a fan for life. Great job!
