When a ruthless gem smuggler mistakes Sarah for her best friend Susan, she’s kidnapped and stashed on an island. Her only hope of rescue is Susan’s cousin Clint — a soldier-of-fortune whose my-way-or-else attitude is as infuriating as his muscular body is distracting.

Clint, ex-Navy SEAL turned mercenary, desperately needs a vacation. Rescuing a kidnapped woman from an island paradise isn’t what he had in mind. And when he encounters Sarah’s sassy mouth and tempting ways, he soon realizes he’s the one in trouble.

About The Author:
I’m a fifty-something author who discovered my passion for writing at the ripe old age of thirteen. Before I received my first manual typewriter I would jot my stories down on notebook paper. Later, after receiving that desired typewriter I spent hours in my bedroom, where my parents thought I was doing homework.

I also hold down a full time day job. So basically I’m working all the time. Only writing is a hobby for me, something I do during the quiet of the evenings and on my weekends. By the time I retire I’ll be happy if I’m just making enough “mad money” from it to be able to travel a little, and spoil my grandchildren. I love chocolate, who doesn’t? And I’m addicted to good coffee and sweet ice tea.

For a while life got in the way of my dreams. A few years ago I decided to get serious and haven’t looked back!

Goddess Fish PartnerMy Review:
Tory Richards is one of my favorite authors when it comes to right sexy, intriguing romance, and one again, she’s hit a home-run with this amazing new book. It’s suspenseful, romantic, and humorous all rolled into one WHOPPER of a read! This book is filled with amazing characters, complexity and excitement and the reader is sucked into the heart of the story instantly.

From the beginning, you feel the intensity of the suspense. Sarah is kidnapped by mistaken identity, and Clint, a sexy mercenary, is enlisted by someone close to him to rescue her. Little did Clint know, Sarah is one doozie of a spit fire and his instant attraction to the blonde could be highly dangerous. Yet he can’t deny that there is SOMETHING there.

Sarah is kidnapped when she’s assumed to be someone she’s not. Playing along, she thinks it will save her life. Then she meets Clint. Sure that he’s sent to her by the ones who kidnapped her, she nearly gets them killed with her distrust. After meeting Clint, and realizing his there to rescue her, only one thing happens. She can’t deny the attraction she feels for the gorgeous mercenary.

Tory Richards creates a passion between these characters that’s so incredibly strong, the reader can feel it to their toes. This story is rich in sexiness, complex with suspense and page turning adrenaline. This is definitely a keeper and one that I recommend with high a 5 Books rating and two thumbs up. I can’t wait to read more of Tory’s greatastic work!
