Goddess Fish PartnerMy Review:
Being from North Carolina, I always love to dive into a book centered there. So, when I saw that this book was set in Lumberton North Carolina, I jumped. Gotta love the home state! Anyway, I was pleasantly surprised with the outcome of reading Vicki’s story. p.m. terrell is a highly talented author who can instantly grip her readers and take them on a whirlwind spin of intrigue, romance and twists.

Vicki is a psychic for the CIA. But, she wants to change her life. Taken on one last mission is not in her plans. Or so she thought. When the CIA contacts her about finding information in a remote land, she hesitates. She’s just settling into a new routine with helping her new boss out, and to top it off, she meets the gorgeous looking nephew of the lady. He’s quite charming and has worked his way into Vicki’s heart. She’s definitely not ready to take on a mission of murder, but she’s the key to helping find answers to the whys and whats.

When Vicki takes on this new mission, things are about to get a whole messier. From twists of intrigue, to whats-gonna-happen-next, terrell and her character Vicki take the reader on a fast-paced mission of amazing suspense. The characters, both main and secondary, are real-to-life and the life of the CIA is captivating. When you open the first page, you’re completely pulled into the heart of the story and you won’t be let go until the end. Especially when the story takes on all the twists!

I definitely recommend this 4 Book worthy start to an incredible new romantic suspense series. You’ll be instantly hooked on small town living and intense CIA action. You’ll get an inside look into the world of a psychic’s life, while having your heart flutter with the interaction between Vicki and Dylan. Definitely high on my must-read-again list, and I’m anxious for a second installment in Vicki’s life! Well done, Ms. Terrell,on gaining a new forever fan!

Good review, Molly. I’m also in NC and like to read local authors and stories set in NC…so i just don’t know how I’ve been in the dark previously about p.m. I see that my local public library has Vicki’s Key so I’m going to check it out.
