Goddess Fish PartnerMy Review:
Charlotte Stout is a truly talented author! I was really pleased with the outcome of this novel. Ms. Stout took an intriguing plot, blended it with fantastic characters and turned out a story that will not only captivate you, but make you truly smile through it all. With some twists and turns through out, you’re never bored with this story!

Charly is a character that anyone would fall in love with. She’s got a quirky sense of humor and from the start, she’s got you laughing. She’s an author working on a manuscript, with a family who is a wee bit protective of her, and a dog named Tootsie. Yep. Tootsie. A sweet dog, if you ask me! And her family…..well, let’s just say, I am perfectly happy with my family and glad that I’m not Charly ;) .

As Charly sits in the coffee shop, working on her manuscript for a new book, she’s not quite happy when someone bumps her table. That is until she looks at the person. Wow! Hello Mr. Manuscript Hero! Charly has just found the perfect model for her hero. Little does she know that her “hero” has his sights set on her now. Common author Charly. Not deserving of a hunk like him, right? Wrong! And that’s just where the fun comes in. Some hot and steamy passion, fun laugh-out-loud moments and some suspenseful twists of mystery, Charly and Julien will steal your heart in an instant!

With unique writing style, Ms. Stout has definitely created a 4 Book worthy novel and made a fan out of me! I would love to see more of Charly and her quirky family! I definitely recommend this book if you are looking for a fun, light romantic story to wind down the summer with. Well done, Ms. Stout!

Thanks for your review. I’m definitely adding this one to my ever growing TBR shelves.

Question for Charlotte: When you are working on your dialogue, do you only hear the words in your head or do you actually speak them out loud? I’m sitting here now thinking about you writing a comedy scene and laughing your a$$ off and I wonder what’s the lesser of 2 evils (figure of speech only), you laughing out loud and people just shake their heads, wondering what’s so funny or someone hearing you talking to yourself and getting answers….just makes me giggle thinking about it!

Hi Karen – Nice to have you on the tour today! I don’t speak out loud when I am writing – it is all in my head and probably it’s best that way. LOL! Thanks for the question.

All families are quirky, and it’s good to see a book that knows it! It sounds great.
