Goddess Fish PartnerMy Review:
After reading Gallagher’s Pride (click to see my review), and absolutely falling in love with the Gallagher’s and their amazing family circle, I was excited to dive right into Gallagher’s Hope. Book 1 left me with a sense of home and family, so I was truly hoping for that in book. I wanted to travel back to the historical west and sit down with my new friends! What I found when I did that, was more than I bargained for, that’s for sure!

This time we are taken to Gabriel Gallagher’s story. When I saw him in book 1, I knew from the start he’s a character I would love. I loved his sweet attitude in Pride and couldn’t wait to see if he got his happy ending like his big brother! This book isn’t overly long, but Gabriel Gallagher sure shows us a lot during the story. When he meets Isabelle Rousseu, his world is about to change. She comes with a lot of secretive baggage….and a brother. He can’t deny that he feels a pull to her, sure, but he has everything he wants….right?

Isabelle Rousseu is a sweet young woman! I loved her from the start! She desperately wants to make a new life for her and her little brother, so she moves to Montana. Trying to keep her secrets at bay is proving difficult…..especially when she meets the handsome Gallagher rancher. Her heart needs to stay protected, but she’s not sure it will happen. Can she dare have a hope for a future with this rancher and his family here in new territory?

I loved every minute of this 5 Book worthy story, but I am not ready to say goodbye! Especially the way Ms. McClintock threw in the cliffhanger! Let me tell, it’s a doozy! Now I have to wait (albeit impatiently!) for book 3, Gallagher’s Choice. I can’t wait for that the happen as I want to get back to my new “family”! I definitely recommend this book to everyone who loves a wonderful historical romance. It’s clean(sure there’s definite passion sparks-a-flyin’ but nothing dramatic and detailed!), filled with characters that steal pieces of your heart and amazing writing skills. Well done, Ms. McClintock on earning a space on my favorite authors list! :)

MK will be awarding an ebook copy of the first book of the series (Gallagher’s Pride) to one random commenter at every stop and a $25 Amazon GC to a randomly drawn commenter at the end of the tour(click banner to follow!)

What a great review. One of my favorite books is an oldie classic Western – The Virginian, which has a school teacher in it too. Glad that you mentioned a cliffhanger, usually I want to know that about a book.

Hi Jess1–thanks for stopping by! I did throw in a cliffhanger, but never fear because the third book (though not the last in this series), will tie up all story lines!
