Soon after Josie Gianni moves to Cadence Beach, Oregon, she’s immediately thrust into a strange and chilling interplay with a demented stalker who believes the soul of the wife he murdered has returned through Josie.

Fueled by jealousy and fear of betrayal, the stalker’s intentions grow increasingly dangerous when Josie falls for Gordon Forrester, the aloof, attractive owner of the local bookstore.

Will Josie’s wit and Gordon’s love save her, or will Josie fall victim to the madman’s destructive behavior as he attempts to reclaim his wife’s soul?

About The Author:
I’m a full time writer of fiction. I adore writing fiction, but I love to read both fiction and non-fiction (mostly in the form of historical fiction, I admit). I love learning, so non-fiction gives me that, but fiction taps into that highly imaginative part of myself. It’s like “coming home” when I get sucked into a good book.

Aside from writing and reading, I love to be active. Hike, ride a bike, ski, whatever, I love to move. As a writer, I can’t go long periods in front of the computer before my mind and body scream for me to stop. Restless is a word I’d use to discribe myself.

I also enjoy movies. With a house full of males (husband and sons), I don’t get a lot of “chick-flick” time, but I enjoy action movies, too, and documentaries. We are big on documentaries in my household.

Travel is another love of mine, especially Europe. I’m a history buff of sorts, and what better place than Europe for rich history. I worked for the Airlines for six years, and with my husband still in the industry, we feed our travel bug when we can.

My life motto? Everything in moderation, for one. And for another: never give up, persevere in everything that you want. I use both those mottos daily, just ask my kids. ;)

My Review:
So, I gotta warn you. This book is addictive. I didn’t want to put this book down! From the awesome characters, to the amazing plot line, this book is filled with so much suspense and twists that you will find yourself up late at night trying to finish the story.

From page one, Ms. Juliano has this book roaring with suspense. Suzanne Roth’s husband has had to bury her, though she doesn’t have a typical grave site, nor did she die in a way that was typical. It was so much worse. Now, Allan Roth has come to believe that he can reincarnate his deceased wife and live happily again.

Josephine “Josie” Gianni is a wonderful character! Bless her heart, I felt for her so many times! She’s a young woman about to be promoted in her job, and on the day of celebration, she walks in on her boyfriend and another woman in bed. Devastation over that incident drive Josie to move to Cadence Beach and take on a new job. Once there, though, she finds her self attracted to her temporary boss, and a victim of being stalked. Everywhere she goes she sees a black Lexus, and then someone decides to invade her privacy. Things get twisty when she finds a note addressed to Suzanne…..especially when that note is full of threats.

Gordon Forrester is hiding secrets, but is growing attracted to the beautiful Josie by the minute. When someone is stalking Josie and Gordon realizes it, will it be enough to push his issues behind and save the woman he’s quickly falling for? Or will the stalker’s obsession be a cause for Gordon to lose again?

This 5 Book worthy story is absolutely high on my recommendation list! You’ll fall in love with all the twists and turns, and when you reach the end…..well, you’ll be wishing for more suspenseful, romantic, witty plots from this amazingly talented author! I can’t wait to see what she has in store for us next. Wonderful job, Ms. Juliano!

I like documentaries, too! (PAGE ONE: INSIDE THE NEW YORK TIMES is my current favorite.) The airline industry must be interesting, but also stressful sometimes…useful to a writer, though!
