Milly Taiden was born in the prettiest part of the Caribbean known as the Dominican Republic. She grew up between New York, Florida and Massachusetts. Currently, she resides in New York City with her husband, bossy young son and their little dog Speedy.
She began writing when she learned to put words together and her first book consisted of two homeless dogs living in a park for her second grade English class. She didn’t win a prize, but she acquired a love for writing that never went away.

When she’s not working full-time, texting with her best friend Heidi in England, chastising her son for pulling the dog’s ears, shopping with her sister Jewel or watching scary movies with her husband, she can be found writing on her laptop. She’s addicted to shoe shopping, chocolate and Dunkin Donuts coffee.

A major reader when she can get her hands on a good book, she loves reading all Mina Carter, Cynthia Eden, Cynthia Sax among others

My Review:
I am going to attempt to write this review without spoilers. Oh my god. Reading this book is like heaven, at least to me. Milly Taiden is absolutely beyond talented with her ability to create a story that is not only filled with kinky passion, it’s filled with take-your-breath-away fabulous characters, laugh-out-loud wittiness and a plot line that will blow you away. I was hooked from the start of the story and wasn’t let go until the very last page. This book was one of the best paranormal romance books that I’ve read to date, I’ve read so many amazing ones!

Sophia is a sweet character. She was instantly one of my favorite heroines. She was geeky, sure, but she was filled with so much sass you couldn’t help but be drawn to her. I loved how she fantasized about the FBA, or the Furry Beast Alpha, but thought that she wasn’t good enough for him,and did what she could to avoid him. But, when she has a slight little accident in her genetics lab, well, let’s just say that the men of Black Meadows find a tad bit more attractive then she thought she was……

Chase. I will forever love him! He was super sexy (oh my god, I could picture him wholly in my mind, and believe me when I say that Sophia is one lucky were!!!!), and doesn’t like all the female attention he gets from his looks. His brother was recently married and his sister-in-law’s sister is one woman who has captured his attention. Problem is, she’s always avoiding him like he has the plague or something. He’s got a strong sexual attraction to the petite beauty, and when he crosses paths with her at a BBQ at his brother’s home, he’s stunned at the change in her….she’s no longer just Sophia……she’s more. I loved how protective he got of her instantly! It was so fun to watch!

But, mixed into that fun, was suspense….someone is after a gene and experiment that Sophia was working on and will stop at nothing to get it,including kidnapping and nearly killing. It’s up to Chase and his pack members to protect the newly appointed Alpha Female.

With scorching hot kinky bedroom scenes, twisty suspense, and fun loving characters, the reader quickly becomes addicted and will have this book read in no time. I found it extremely hard to put the book down, because every time I had to, it was a new turning point, and I was desperate to know what happened next. This is most definitely a highly recommended 5 Book worthy start to an incredibly new series. Book 2 can’t come soon enough for me……I am dying to see more of Chase and Sophia, Julia and River, and see which pack member gets their HEA next! Amazingly done, Ms. Taiden….amazingly done!
