My Review:
So, I’m having a hard time here. I want to give this book a 4 Book worthy rating, but I’m having a really hard time doing that. I’m leaning more towards 3 Books. Why? Well, I will say that the author did a great job at creating a paranormal, suspenseful romance…..for the most part. There were things lacking to me. The beginning of this story nearly threw me off on the whole story. I didn’t like the way that the author had Noel in such a funk over her boyfriend of 3 years dumping her. Sure, that’s a rough thing to encounter….heck, I’ve been divorced so I know what it can feel like. But, I just don’t think it played well into the story. Didn’t go with the plot line or anything. After that beginning, I just had a hard time staying focused on the story itself. It really threw me off.
That all being said, I did love Jared and Boone’s characters. They really through the sexiness into the story, and the way they both captured Noel’s attention was awesome. The attraction that Noel feels for both of these men is incredible. I would have had a hard time deciding which to give my heart to, as well! I loved the way Jared was able to work himself into her dreams, keeping Noel on edge with the feelings for him. Then when Boone entered the picture….oh lala!
There’s a bit of suspense added to the story when Noel learns that she is not just merely a human….there is more to her than meets the eye. And the League Of Immortals wants her. It’s up to Jared and Boone to show Noel that she needs protection from this people, before things go haywire.
All in all, I will say that this worthy of 3 Books and recommendation. If you can get past the deep depression beginning, and move on to the magical, suspenseful elements, then this is a fantastic book overall. I can also say that just because I was thrown off a bit with this book, it will not keep me from anxiously awaiting the next book to see what happens with the League Of Immortals next.

I really appreciate you taking the time to host and review my book! You rock:) Have a great day!
