You know when you get that one good suspenseful novel that will keep you up late at night, turning page after page, and when your done you wanna leave the light on? Well, Patricia Rasey’s LOVE YOU TO PIECES is absolutely one of those novels, and one that I am going to be reading again and gain. I did NOT want to put this one down. The intensity of the story, mixed with the complexity of the characters was enough to have me hungry for more!

Jaycen McCain is not only a sexy detective trying to solve murders, he’s had a tough life….he’s lost his daughter and his wife, Kelly Jo. His wife’s death was no accident though. Someone sent him a message in the form of a package…..a body part. Not just any body part. A hand that belonged to his wife. He’s taking things really hard and has locked his heart away. He’s locked his heart away and doesn’t want much to do with anyone.

Sara St. James is Kelly Jo’s cousin. Determined to help Jaycen she tries to work her way into his hardened heart. It’s not working….that is until the the investigation that Jaycen is working on takes on a twist.

Someone is killing women again. Someone is sending body parts again. And they come included with a message, each message cryptic and straight from a movie. Will Jaycen be able to beat the clock-and the killer-and save a life? Or will his hardened heart prevail and leave Jaycen with nothing once again?

This is one book that will have you thinking twice before opening packages again. You’ll be looking over your shoulder, feeling as if the book was written about you. This is most definitely a 5 star worthy novel that will forever be on my highest recommendation list. If you love that murder mystery that will leave you shaking and eyes bugging, then grab up a copy of Ms. Rasey’s novel now. You will not be disappointed! I can’t wait for another amazing suspenseful novel just like this one!
