Halloween Heat II
An Anthology of Erotic Paranormal Ménage

Three stories of blazing paranormal ménage. Hot dragons, sexy wolf shifters, and scorching threesomes to make an unforgettable Halloween night.

“Master Me” by Rachel Firasek

It’s trick or treat when Raina brings her beta
in to help her chosen pack leader ease into his role. Changing him had
been easy, but learning how to tame his wolf without breaking his spirit
will be the test of a true alpha. For a new formed pack, Raina will do
almost anything to keep the man she loves happy, even if it means
letting go of the only person she’s ever trusted and submitting in all
ways to her new Master.

“Dragons at Samhain” by Selena Illyria
“Witchvine Seduction” by Dawn Montgomery

About The Authors:
Dawn Montgomery loves to write almost as much as she loves to read. She has traveled the world twice over. While her days were filled with long hours and hard work, her nights were left for dark, lustful fantasies in and out of strange hotels and cities.

Alaska and Texas are the places she calls home. She recently moved from the frigid North to Texas with her family and neurotic dog. It was tragic to leave behind the moose and bear for wide open plains and sexy cowboys.

Author, part vampire, part pixie, Selena Illyria was born with a need to write and enable. Her imagination takes her into the paranormal, sci-fi and fantasy genres and all sorts of mischief. When not writing she enjoys catching up on her TBR pile, watching some of her favorite programs and listening to her favorite music as well as teasing people with posts on decadent food and plot bunnies.

Rachel Firasek grew up in the South, and despite the gentle pace, she harassed life at full steam. Her curiosity about mythology, human nature, and the chemical imbalance we call love led her to writing.

Her stories began with macabre war poems and shifted to enchanted fairy tales, before she settled on a blending of the two.

Today, you’ll find her tucked on a small parcel of land, surrounded by bleating sheep and barking dogs, with her husband and children. She entertains them all with her wacky sense of humor or animated reenactments of bad Eighties dance moves.

She’s intrigued by anything unexplained and seeks the answers to this crazy thing we call life. You can find her where the heart twists the soul and lights the shadows…

Five stories of gay love and passion with a paranormal twist, perfect for Halloween.

“Love Lies Deep” by Tristram La Roche
“Idle Hands” by Reneé George
“Costumes” by Dianne Hartsock
“Eden” by Kiran Hunter
“Set in Stone” by Elin Gregory

About The Authors:
Kiran Hunter‘s early years were spent living in Cyprus and, later, in Hertfordshire and Kent, England. Cambridge is home now, but the mountains of Wales often beckon.

Kiran’s interests include psychology, philosophy, literature, art and music. Psychological thrillers fill the book case and rock music fills the iPod. The dark side of human nature is a constant fascination and the inspiration behind much of what Kiran writes, but sometimes the lighter side is tempting…

Elin Gregory lives in South Wales and works in a museum in a castle built on the edge of a Roman fort! She reckons that’s a pretty cool job. It certainly provides more than enough inspiration for her writing.

“The button from a military jacket found in an orchard, a 16th century Venetian coin found between the cobbles of a Welsh street, a carnelian from a Roman signet ring – one can’t handle them without wondering who lost them, how much they regretted it and what kind of disaster was sparked off by the loss.”

Elin usually writes on historical subjects, but has also written contemporary and historical paranormals, science fiction, crime and a Western. She likes her heroes hard as nails but capable of tenderness when circumstances allow. Her historical novella, Alike As Two Bees, was published in March 2012 and she is awaiting edits for her first novel “On A Lee Shore”.

On My Knees (Etopia Press) was his debut romance and an Amazon.co.uk genre bestseller. Since then he has had three more novellas published; Lorenzo il Magnifico (Evernight Publishing);Fixed (Etopia Press) and The Hun and The General (Etopia Press). Tristram writes gritty gay fiction. Diane Hartsock:After growing up in California and spending the first ten years of marriage in Colorado, I now live in the beautiful Willamette Valley of Oregon with my incredibly patient husband, who puts up with the endless hours I spend hunched over the keyboard letting my characters play.

I have to say, Oregon’s raindrops are the perfect setting in which to write my slightly twisted tails. There’s something about being cooped up in the house while it pours rain outside, a fire crackles on the hearth inside, and a cup of hot coffee warms my hands, which kindles my imagination.

The intricate and fragile nature of the mind is always fascinating. Having worked with the public through various careers I’ve come to respect the resilience and strength of the human spirit. I’m always trying to capture that spirit in my writing.
Currently, I work as a floral designer in a locally-owned gift shop. Which is the perfect job for me. When not writing, I can express myself through the rich colors and textures of flowers and foliage.

Award-winning author Reneé George has been a medic, a nurse, a website designer, a small press editor, an artist, and a teacher, but writing is her true passion. Reneé loves creating stories about sexy alpha men who can’t get enough of sexy alpha men (with the occasional strong woman in the mix)! She and her family live in a small, mid-western town, sharing their home with two dogs and a very independent cat.

My Review:
I have one thing to say about this author and this book. I am MAD at you! Oh my god. Seriously, Carrie Ann? You had to do that to me? Grrrr! Yes, I just growled(guess I’ve read too many of Carrie Ann’s Redwood Pack novels…). But, anyway. Back to my review. Seriously. I was tied up in so many knots throughout this entire novel! I was cursing Carrie Ann up one side and down the other ;) . No, not really but I was completely wrapped up in emotional turmoil and what-the-hecks the entire time I was turning the pages of Adam’s story. Carrie Ann Ryan is the ultimate in paranormal romance authors. I was hooked on her work the minute I read An Alpha’s Path. I couldn’t get enough and with every book she writes, it just gets better and better….or in this case better and frustrating!!! :)

Adam Jamenson has been seen through all the books, and I really sensed his inner struggles and his sadness each time I saw him in the others. I was so excited when Carrie Ann created his story. I had to know if he got his happy ending and well, I’ll not tell you if he did or not, but I will tell you that this man had me bawling my eyes on more than one occasion for sure! A couple of times I wished I had a cast iron frying pan to knock him upside his hard head(and Carrie Ann’s head too!), but…yea. Anyway, he was such a wonderful Enforcer. I could, like I said, feel his sadness in the other books. He suffered so much with a terrible, gut wrenching loss and he wasn’t ready for anything else. Then, when he thought things may slide back into place for him, Bay Milton arrives at the Redwood’s den…and turns his life upside down.

Bay Milton is just as full of secrets as Adam and just as hard headed! I loved her character and thought that Carrie Ann had finally decided to help Adam out. When she shows up to the den with a surprise for Adam, things don’t quite go as she had originally planned. Especially with the way the Centrals are once again in attack mode for the Redwoods and it seems centered around her. All she wants is the protection of the Redwoods….and the help of one sad, emotionally scarred wolf. But, with twists and turns and emotions galore, things seem to take on new meaning for everyone in the Redwood pack.

Again I say I am mad at Carrie Ann(not really, but I have to tie her up in knots the way she did me with this book!)! I loved this book so much and she had me in knots the entire time I read this book. She did add a few humorous moments to the story to try and balance it out but….well, I still bawled my eyes out. Adam has just become my absolute favorite of the Jamenson boys and I want you to go out and grab up this book right now(but only if you’ve read the first three books so you can fully grasp Adam’s turmoil and pain!). It is 5 million book worthy (though on here I can only give it a 5 Book rating) and full of redemption and possible second chances. You’ll get so completely wrapped up in finding out what happens to Bay, Adam and the Redwoods that before you know it, you’ll be at the end with tears streaming down your face. I won’t tell you whether Adam does get his happy ending or not, but I will tell you that Carrie Ann kills you throughout the book and the ending…well it’s a shocker for sure!!! I can’t wait to see what Carrie Ann has in store for the other Jamenson’s….I just hope I don’t have to wait too long to find out!

(should be 5 million books!)
